The new Russian satellite will begin to conduct reconnaissance of the objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The new Russian radar satellite “Kosmos-2569” will begin reconnaissance of objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU). It is reported by RIA Novosti .

According to the source, on average, the satellite will pass over Ukraine twice a day and shoot military facilities in the radar range with a resolution of one meter.

The interlocutor of the agency added that the satellite will allow monitoring the concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the transfer of equipment or the construction of new fortifications, “regardless of the time of day and weather.”

Roselectronics explained that the satellite is equipped with a radar that is capable of obtaining detailed images of the Earth’s surface .

Earlier it was reported that the first in almost ten years, the Russian Earth observation radar satellite “Kondor-FKA” has the ability to conduct interferometric surveys in all weather conditions.
