Over the past 2022, global investments related to the development of artificial intelligence projects have collapsed by 34 percent and amounted to $45.8 billion, according to the analytical company CB Insights.
In 2022, there were 2,956 transactions in the global AI space, a 10 percent decrease from 2021.
Investments in the Russian market have halved. In 2022, it was possible to conclude 128 transactions against 291 a year earlier. The volume of investments fell by 57 percent and amounted to $1.1 billion.
According to experts, investments in AI-related startups are falling on a par with investments in the global venture capital business: this risky sector has dipped in investments by 35 percent.
