Science mentoring program to be launched in Russia

The scientific mentoring program will be launched in 2023 in Russian universities. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Rosst Dmitry Chernyshenko .
He noted that in Russia there are now 52,000 scientists under the age of 39.
“They will have to, relying on the traditions of domestic pedagogy and advanced technologies, form a sovereign education system,” TASS quoted him as saying.
He noted that scientific associations and councils of young scientists will be involved in the development of the mentoring system.
According to Chernyshenko, in this way it will be possible to “nurture” a young scientist: from an applicant to a doctor of sciences.
The mentoring program will begin to operate in six universities: Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, PFUR , Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov, State Academic University for the Humanities, Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation and Petrozavodsk State University.
