Russian fighter Usman Nurmagomedov strangled an American at the Bellator tournament

Russian mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Usman Nurmagomedov defeated US representative Benson Henderson at the 292nd Bellator tournament in San Jose, USA, and defended the promotion’s lightweight title.
The main fight of the evening was held as part of the Grand Prix of the lightweight division of the organization. The quarter-final bout ended in the first round. The Russian won with a choke hold.

24-year-old Nurmagomedov spent 17 fights in MMA, in which he won 17 victories. Benson Henderson, 39, has 30 wins in 42 fights.
Earlier, Georgian MMA fighter Merab Dvalishvili , who competes in the lightest weight category of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC), said that Russian Anatoly Malykhin owes him a large amount of money.
On March 12, Dvalishvili will meet with Russian Peter Yan as part of the UFC tournament in American Las Vegas.
