According to the official, the enemy seeks to reach the borders of the Donetsk region and does not give up hopes of seizing the entire territory of Ukraine. The offensive in this direction has been going on since the beginning of January. The painter said that now numerous professional divisions of the “Wagner” PMC are gathering in the Bakhmut area.
However, the deputy minister assured that despite the superiority in numbers and the intensity of the battles, the enemy’s losses are “very high and much higher than ours”. According to her, Ukrainian units report the destruction of up to 80% of established “Wagnerites”.
Hanna Malyar reported on the enemy offensive in the east in several directions, the hottest of which she called Bakhmutsky. The official assured that Russia has not abandoned the idea of capturing all of Ukraine. However, according to her, the Russians faced a problem — their regular troops were demoralized. This encourages Russia to send more mercenaries to the front, because they are motivated by money.
“The only thing that is stopping them now is exhaustion. They are nervously looking for reserves to replenish. For example, they are trying to launch their military production in a powerful mode. Not everything works, but they switched to a 24-hour work mode. There are various measures, by the way, up to to the physical impact on the heads of enterprises, are applied,” Malyar explained.
Also, according to the official, Russia is looking for an opportunity to negotiate with other countries on the secret supply of weapons. The invaders seek to replenish reserves and conquer Ukraine.
