According to Pshenichnaya, the main epidemic rise of the current season has passed.
“At the moment, most of those susceptible to both influenza and COVID-19 have been ill,” she said.
The specialist also urged to remember that usually the season of “winter” respiratory viruses – coronavirus infections, respiratory syncytial virus and influenza virus – lasts until the end of April.
Earlier, the allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibok said that at the first sign of the flu, people drink alcohol or go to the bathhouse, and this is a mistake.
Prior to that, he said that after recovering from the flu, a person should take multivitamin preparations, as well as eat fruits and vegetables.
