The history of this theater is amazing in itself. It began to be built by order of Emperor Napoleon III. Then the war broke out, and for some time it was under the control of the Paris Commune. The Palais Garnier is best known as the site that inspired Gaston Leroux to write The Phantom of the Opera. The latter became the basis for the creation of the famous musical of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Weber. The theater stands out not only for its beautiful marble facade, but also for its luxurious interior decoration with numerous paintings.

Guests will be offered accommodation in the Lodge of Honor – previously it served as a place for receiving important people. During the evening, it will be possible to walk around the palace with a private tour, visit not only the archives of the theater, but also see its “underground lake”, which was formed due to the mistake of the builders who dug too deep a pit filled with groundwater. Now this lake has become a training ground for French firefighters and home to impressive white catfish.
