We wrote about problems with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro the day before. Now it’s time to talk about the update issues for Samsung’s 2021 and 2022 flagships.
What is known
As you know, Samsung is actively distributing the new One UI 5.1 software. By mid-March, the manufacturer wants to release an update for about 20 smartphones and half a dozen tablets. But for at least six models, the update proved problematic.
This is reported by the owners of the flagship series Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. They note that after installing One UI 5.1, smartphones start to get very hot and quickly lose battery power. One of the users claims a sharp jump in power consumption from the Samsung Keyboard.
As happens in such cases, the company will soon release the “normal” version of One UI 5.1, which will eliminate all problems. By the way, Samsung support advises clearing the cache and restarting the smartphone to fix the problem of high power consumption from the Samsung Keyboard.
