Fireproof elements of the damaged “Progress MS-21” flooded in the Pacific Ocean

The fireproof parts of the damaged Progress MS-21 spacecraft, which undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) the day before, are flooded in the Pacific Ocean. This is reported by Roscosmos in the Telegram channel .
As stated in the state corporation, the ship was deorbited, entered the atmosphere and collapsed.
“Unburned elements <…> fell in the non-navigable area of the South Pacific,” the statement said.
Earlier it was reported that Roskosmos continues to investigate the cause of the depressurization of the Progress MS-21 spacecraft’s thermal control system, which occurred on February 11 at the ISS.
It is assumed that a violation of the production technology of the Russian segments of the International Space Station caused the state of emergency .
