The depressurized Progress MS-21 spacecraft will undock from the ISS on February 18

The depressurized Progress MS-21 spacecraft will be undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on February 18 at 05:26 Moscow time, TASS reports citing the Roscosmos press service.
The decision to undock the ship was made at the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation named after S.P. Queen . It was preceded by a detailed study of a photo of the damage to the ship – on February 11, the radiator of the control system on the outer surface of the instrument-aggregate compartment became unusable. The exit of the ship from orbit will begin at 07:03 Moscow time, Roscosmos reported.
On February 14 , it was reported that a violation of the technology for the production of Russian segments of the ISS is the likely cause of the depressurization of the Progress MS-21 cargo ship. The damage to the ship did not affect the safety of the astronauts, but it caused a delay in their return to earth at least until the first decade of March.
The Progress-21 space transport cargo vehicle was launched on October 26, 2022 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome .
