The developers managed to make the smartphone very thin and light: the dimensions are 161.5 x 73.9 x 7.8 mm with a weight of 173 grams. Impressions from the design of Realme 10 Pro + are extremely positive. Smartphone in appearance is not inferior to the recognized market leaders. If you want a stylish device, then this is definitely the Realme 10 Pro +. As always, the kit includes a silicone case, which is extremely convenient and not only protects the device itself, but also makes it more convenient to use. Even in a large male palm there is no fear of accidentally dropping it.
At the same time, the fingerprint sensor works instantly, without freezes and failures.
Competitors usually have a scanner in the power button. The updated touch features of the gadget thanks to O-haptics technology mimic the texture of materials and provide a natural feeling. The front panel is covered with tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. The back panel, like the edges, is made of plastic.
Realme 10 Pro+ is powered by TSMC’s 6nm Dimensity 1080 5G chipset with eight cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz. At the same time, the smartphone has a convenient performance optimization mode for games, and during the game process there is no strong heating or slowdown, and energy consumption is minimized.
Realme 10 Pro+ smartphones are available in 8GB and 12GB RAM versions, which can be upgraded with the largest DRAM in the segment up to 12GB+12GB. The amount of built-in memory of the device is 128 gigabytes or 256 gigabytes.
All necessary wireless modules are in place: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, navigation module with GPS (A-GPS), GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and
The device is pre-installed with Realme UI 4.0 proprietary interface with a lot of useful features, such as “smart” always on display with convenient and simple audio playback control, which the user can customize. With advanced InputBoost 3.0 and Dexopt technologies, the gadget has received an updated dynamic computing platform for long-term browsing experience with high smoothness and low power consumption.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and allows you to talk on the phone for more than 30 hours, watch YouTube videos for more than 20 hours, play games for more than 7 hours and just have the device with you in standby mode for more than 520 hours. And it takes just a little time to fill the battery thanks to the 67W SUPERVOOC charger with innovative dual-stream charging technology. It allows you to charge your smartphone from 0 to 50 percent in 17 minutes, and from 0 to 100 percent in 45 minutes.
However, the charging rate will vary from very fast at the beginning of the charging process from zero percent and will decrease when the battery reaches 80 percent charge, which, according to the manufacturer, will increase battery life. Reverse charging technology also allows you to recharge wireless headphones or other accessories with a Type C connector.
But one of the nicest features is the camera. The rear cameras are placed in the form of two circles in the corner of the rear panel – a slightly more elegant and interesting solution than in Realme 9 Pro +, but in general, not particularly prominent against the general background. The front camera is removed in an individual hole in the center of the upper part of the screen – also quite a classic by modern standards.
In the Realme 10 Pro + camera system, only the main one has changed. Here we used a Samsung (S5K)HM6 module with dimensions of 1 / 1.67 “. This is a Nona Bayer matrix with nine subpixels combined – the total resolution is 108 megapixels, the size of an individual subpixel is 0.64 microns. This sensor works with an f/1.8 lens with a 24mm equivalent focal length and phase detection autofocus. There is no optical stabilizer. The wide-angle module and the macro camera have not changed. The first uses an 8-megapixel Sony IMX 355 sensor with dimensions 1/4 “(pixel size – 1.12 microns), without autofocus, and a 16 mm EGF lens with f / 2.2 aperture. The last camera is a standard macro module: OmniVision OV02B, 2 megapixels, 1/5”, 1.75 µm, f/2.4.
During the day, Realme 10 Pro + shoots perfectly – and on the wide-angle module too. Despite the low resolution, the pictures are quite sharp and detailed, and the distortion at the edges of the frame is not striking.
There is a dedicated night mode that works with wide angle, standard angle and zoom. The night mode works in the standard way: the smartphone takes a number of shots with different exposures in about a second and then combines them into one, “pulling up” it programmatically using machine learning technologies.
In principle, it is forced to turn it on either for zooming or for more control over shooting – Realme traditionally offers a “professional” night mode in which you can control individual settings. The macro camera, with its close focusing distance, allows for interesting close-ups.
This is another very successful Realme smartphone. Both Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 10 Pro+ turned out to be not just up-to-date gadgets, but even devices that move the offer forward in their segment.
Realme 10 Pro+ stands out in the first place with a design with a curved display, which can safely be called a flagship one, good speakers, a decent rear camera (especially the main module with a standard focal length) and a fast and convenient Realme UI 4.0 shell, complemented by excellent vibration feedback. A separate charm is the combination of a thin and light body with a large screen and a capacious battery.
The company does not rest on its laurels, but continues to offer the user more and more interesting solutions. And the pricing policy just spreads competitors.
