Scientists have learned what time of day you need to exercise to lose weight 4.8

Researchers from Sweden and Denmark conducted experiments on mice and found out what time of day exercise is most effective for weight loss.

Sedentary lifestyle and obesity are major risk factors for type 2 diabetes. Its prevention is physical exercise and reasonable dietary restrictions. Almost all cells in the body have an internal circadian clock that is synchronized by signals from the outside. This mechanism adapts the body’s physiology throughout the 24-hour day-night cycle. Scientists from the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) and the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) conducted studies in mice to learn more about these processes and their relationship with weight loss. The experts presented their findings in the journal PNAS.

The experiment was carried out on mice, which were forced to move intensively at different times of the day. At the same time, every four hours, scientists took samples of the adipose tissue of animals to study markers of fat metabolism and analyze genes active in such tissue after exercise.
