Truck “Progress MS-22” docked with the International Space Station

The Progress MS-22 transport cargo ship, which was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on February 9, docked with the International Space Station (ISS). The broadcast is conducted on the website of the state corporation Roscosmos .

Earlier it was reported that Progress MS-22 will deliver more than 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket of the Progress MS-22 cargo ship into low-Earth orbit was a significant event for Roscosmos, since it was the anniversary, 100th accident-free launch of the rocket since October 2018. For the first time in modern history, the Russian Federation has reached such an indicator in this area .

According to Roskosmos, before docking with the International Space Station, Progress circled the Earth 34 times, its flight lasted more than 50 hours.

In early February, the state corporation Roscosmos announced the first launch of a Russian rocket in 2023.
