MOSCOW, Feb 7 – PRIME. Video conferencing service Zoom is cutting its staff by 15%, CEO Eric Yuan said.

“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to cut our team by about 15% and say goodbye to our 1,300 hard-working, talented colleagues,” Yuan said on the company’s website.

It is noted that the changes will affect every organization within Zoom, and some teams will adjust their structure. Reduced employees will receive salaries and medical care for 16 weeks, they will receive an annual bonus for the last financial year. They will also have access to individual training and seminars.
