Small effect or big effect?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is an active ingredient in the hemp plant. It is said to help fight inflammation, promote sleep and relieve anxiety. But there are hardly any reliable medical studies.


According to the health report by the health insurance company DAK, every tenth employee in Germany suffers from problems falling asleep and sleeping through the night, poor sleep quality, daytime tiredness and exhaustion. At eleven percent, women are affected somewhat more frequently than men at eight percent. To avoid sleeping pills, many are looking for alternatives. One has now been added: Cannabidiol (CBD).
